Main Street, U. We might browse through some stores, watch a parade, or grab a baked good, but I think for most of us, the walk up Main Street is simply a way to get to the rides. In my new series, Meet Me Down on Main Street, I am going to slow us down and take a closer look at the details waiting to be discovered. Today we are visiting the Train Station. When people arrived to a new town in the s the first building they saw was the train station.
I had been reading that Main Street was kind of a one spot wonder albeit a busy one for the Electrical Parade at 8 and then the rest at 9. Laura rated it it was ok Jun 13, If she did, would she be there? Enlarge cover. Mary writes mostly romantic suspense, romance, women's fiction, and she has just begun to dabble in young adult mystery. Mirrors everywhere een on the ceiling, nice decoration.
The same thing is true at the Disney Parks. After passing through the turnstiles the first thing you see is the train station above you with trains chugging along.
I think it might be one of the most photographed buildings in the parks. Thanks for the hints. The wife and I always watched the parades from Main Street. We got tired of staking out a spot well before the parade, only to have people try to get in front of you right before the parade starts. Have to see first parade, young kids, want minimal time waiting for parade but also want them to be able to see. We got there between 20 to 30 minutes before the parade began.
Most relaxing parade viewing ever! We have been watching the parades from frontier land for 3 years now. Such a great place. First timer here.
How does it work if you want to see wishes—the projections on the castle and the fireworks. I had been reading that Main Street was kind of a one spot wonder albeit a busy one for the Electrical Parade at 8 and then the rest at 9. I was planning to find a spot along Main Street around 7 for the parade.
Is that too late? This will probably be our only trip to Disney, so I wanted a good view of the projections on the castle too.
Thanks for any tips!! Been working hard on the planning! Your email address will not be published. Notify me of followup comments via e-mail. August 23, August 14, Julia Mascardo 8 Comments.

Reply we had a late dinner on our arrival day at Liberty Tree Tavern, walked outside the restaurant when finished and sat on the little steps while waiting for parade.
